Hard to believe this front yard was previously mostly huge jade plants! After a lot of removal of an overgrown and lackluster ornamental garden, this garden was renovated with colorful natives. A tricky east-facing garden that receives some morning sun and also some shade underneath the preexisting Japanese maple, lots of experimenting over two years of plantings finally resulted in a beautiful front yard. Super successful hellstrip conversion to native shrub border for everyone to enjoy.
